Richard Perkins  Director Integralpermanence Regenerative Eco Social Design Services

Richard is a Permaculture teacher, practioner and consultant in the UK and abroad, (Permaculture Teacher and Diploma Tutor under the Permaculture Association of Great Britain).  Engaged in a Diploma Mentoring style that integrates the diverse and integrative knowledge streams gained on his learning journey in various fields, those interested in the 2 year Diploma in the UK and potentially abroad see here

Richard has studied up to MSc level (Integrative Eco Social Design, Gaia U), holds a Diploma in Applied Permaculture Design, HND Organic Crop Production and Horticulture and has self- studied extensively in the academic fields of Anthropology, Sociology, Ecology and Philosophy.  Actively developing an ever broadening practical and digital skill- flex in diverse aspects of self reliance and regenerative design, Richard is impassioned about creating and sharing free resources for the world in this time of great (un)learning and transitioning.

Richard has created a Right Livelihood consulting and teaching Permaculture in the UK and abroad, integrating strong elements of community building, NVC work and combined Action Learning Internships. Constantly balancing the middle way between "heart" and "mind" styles of teaching Richard utilises the value of both.

With practical experience in food production, from small scale through to farm management and natural building with adobe, cob, straw-bale, timber and bamboo in both temperate and sub- tropical climates, Richard also runs a yurt making business built around PC principles in the UK.

Having worked on extensive system design and implementation from food forests to water cleansing and irrigation systems, business design to soil building, edible landscaping to keyline design, community building to integrative system development, Richard has developed a broad and deep understanding of how to live a more fulfilling, cooperative and co creative life gently on the Earth.

2008-9 was spent living/ working/ managing the Panya Project (a sustainability and education site) in Northern Thailand whilst working on my MSc in Integrative and Collaborative Eco Social Design and Communication with Gaia University, where He met his wife Michelle.   After a spell living on the canals in UK welcoming their baby daughter Grace, the family have sold up to move to a life (eventually!) on the land.  Michelle and Richard are currently focused on an overland trip round the globe filming a Permaculture based documentary on living and successful solutions, to be released monthly online.  After circling the globe and the US (where Michelle is from) we plan to settle to establish Triskele Farm.
